Questions shop owners ask
Q.Do buyers pay outside Roblox?
No. Every sale is a Roblox gamepass or developer product. SONGBIRD only verifies the purchase and delivers the item.
Q.Can several artists sell in one server?
Yes, that’s what shops are built for. Each artist has their own listings, gamepasses and storefront posts, and can credit collaborators on shared work.
Q.Do I need to host or install anything?
No. SONGBIRD runs centrally: invite the bot, connect your server and list items. Selling inside your own experience is optional and only needs our place scripts.
Q.Why must buyers have a public inventory?
So purchases can be verified, and so leak tools can work as they roll out. It only has to be public at the moment they buy; your own team is exempt.
Q.What if a buyer loses the message?
Claims are delivered privately in the channel, and /purchases re-sends anything they’ve bought from your shop at any time.
Q.What are unique decals?
An optional mode that uploads a fresh copy of a face for every buyer. It’s subject to Roblox upload limits and moderation time, so it’s off unless you turn it on.
Q.Do you support commissions?
They’re next on the roadmap: artists post offers in forum channels, buyers order through a private ticket, and prices can be fixed or negotiated.
Q.Can my team help run the shop?
Yes. Add people as artists (their own listings), staff (the whole catalog) or admins (channels and settings). Owners manage the team.
